Care recommendation door fittings:
Outside, the fittings should be regularly dusted with a soft, dry cloth and, as with wood, applied a layer of wax. This forms a film and prevents natural oxidation.
Never use abrasives or chemical cleaners. Polish after drying. This preserves the pleasing semi-gloss antique character of the door set.
