Functioning of the exchange fitting: This exchange fitting is designed for trouble-free operation of the door handle. The knob is screwed to the back by the rotating pin, which allows the knob to be turned but does not open the lock. The door can be opened from the outside with a key. On the other side, the hinge pin connects the AC socket on the inside of the door to the lock.

The rotary changer pin measures 8x8 mm (thickness) and 12 cm (length).
Important: Are you planning to equip antique front doors with this hardware? Front doors of the past often had a locknut of 10 x 10 mm, while modern locks have a DIN size of 8 x 8 mm. No worries! We offer a special 10 mm thorn-thickness, available in our webshop for individual customisation. For thicker doors, we can also offer alternative pivot pins for a perfect fit.
